URGENT! Job Opportunity - Exam Scribe - Wednesday, March 20, 2019

Here's an opportunity to be an exam scribe with the Office of Accessible Education. Please read the description thoroughly and contact Heather directly.

What: Scribing a CHEM 141 final for a student taking the exam. The student dictates and you transcribe what they say onto the exam.

Date: Wednesday Mar 20, 2019

Time: 7:00 pm - 11:30pm

Class: CHEM 141

 In this sequence students will gain a qualitative and quantitative understanding of the molecular logic of cellular processes, which include expression and transmission of the genetic code, enzyme kinetics, biosynthesis, energy storage and consumption, membrane transport, and signal transduction. Connections to foundational principles of chemistry will be made through structure-function analyses of biological molecules. Integrated lessons in structural, mechanistic, and physical chemistry will underscore how molecular science and molecular innovation have impacted biology and medicine. 

Rate: $16 per hour

Requirements:

-You must have successfully completed CHEM 141 or feel comfortable with the relevant terminology. 
-You must be eligible to work (or want to volunteer your time). 
-You cannot currently be enrolled in CHEM 141.
